1943 - 2009

On July 22, 2009, Terry passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, with his dog Roxy at his side.

Born September 9, 1943, Terry was a respected realtor in the Cranbrook area for many years until retiring from East Kootenay Realty in June of 2001. As a celebrant with McPherson Funeral Service, he had the opportunity to continue the work that brought him immense joy. Terry was very sensitive, compassionate and understanding, and because of this he had a passion for helping people in need during times of loss and sorrow. Terry's other passion was Maui. He enjoyed several trips to the island. On two trips he took great pleasure in showing Paulett his favourite places to snorkel, whale watch and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. He also enjoyed the odd cup of coffee with his buddies at the ABC. Terry was also very proud of being papa to his grandchildren Kessiya and Blake.

Sine he was a child, Terry spent summers out at Moyie Lake with his family. For the past seven years he enjoyed living full time where there were many wonderful childhood memories. His favourite pastime was sitting on the deck reading and enjoying the view of the lake and the beach and meeting people from many parts of our country as well as from many other countries.

Terry will be sadly missed and remembered lovingly by his wife Paulett, his twin brother George, step-daughter Tamara Andrew (Dustin) and his grandchildren Kessiya and Blake Andrew, step-son Craig Siep, nephews Vern (Jackie), Michael, Joey (Deanna), grand nephews and nieces as well as many good friends and neighbours.

Terry was predeceased by his father Elliot Richard Harris, brothers Roy and John, sister Cynthia Griffith, mother Joyce Schieffert and step-father Vern Schieffert.
