Obituary of Mary Donald

May 17, 1924 - April 6, 2008

May passed away peacefully at Joseph Creek Care Village on April 6, 2008 at the age of 83.

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, May married Cliff Donald and came to Canada in 1945. She resided in Kimberley for 22 years and was active in the Kimberley Food Bank and loved to volunteer at the accordion festival.

May is survived by her two sons: Jim (Sandy) of Grande Prairie and Blaine of Edmonton; grandchildren: Teri, Michael (Tracy) and 3 great grandchildren: Keyana, Alex and Tyler. She also leaves a sister Margaret and a niece and nephews in Scotland.

May was pre-deceased by her husband Clifford Donald in June of 1993.

At May's request, there will be no service.

Jim and Blaine would like her friends to know they will take her remains home to Scotland.
