My sympathy to Gus's family. I knew Gus from the Grain trade. He was a keen competitor and a man of his word.He has left me with some good memories not only in business but socially. We missed that last golf game together - he left too fast too early.

It is with GREAT sadness that I learned of the passing of Gus. We were friends and Lake neighbors for many years. I carry fond memories of the times spend at the lake in the summer with the entire family. Never a dull moment with Gus around. Always on the go and SO into being with the family...the boating, the waterskiing, the swimming, and of course a party here or there. I always thought it was so neat that a DAD would run and jump off the dock , just like one of the kids.It is a great loss to many people and your 3 kids are lucky to have had such a loving and proud father. With sincere sympathy, darlene

I would like to pass on my sincere condolances to the family with the passing of Gus. Gus was always a great teacher to all of the young grain traders at Xcan Grain Ltd. I was just talking to some of the fellas today reminising about the interesting times we had at Xcan with Gus at the helm. He always had time to teach the young traders in a way that we never forgot to this day. This certainly instilled confidence in us as we advanced in our endevours. Gus was a good man.

I was sad to hear of the passing of your father, Gus. I will always remember him as a gracious host at Lake Metigosh. His happy and outgoing manner made Orest and I feel welcome when we came to visit. This last summer he took us on a boat ride around the lake and he was so entertaining with his stories about the history of how the cottages have grown over the years.Your Dad's love for his children and grandchildren was always expressed by the way he spoke and by his kind actions towards you.Your family is in my prayers. May your memories of him bring you comfort at this difficult time.Wanda Lazaruk
