Obituary of Mary Dycke
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Mary Dycke announces her passing at Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Thursday, September 23, 2010.
Mary was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She moved to Blakeburn, British Columbia as a baby. After Mary's father was killed in an underground mining explosion, the family moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia. In Nanaimo, Mary was married and raised her 3 children. In 1978 Mary moved to Vernon, British Columbia and in 2005 she moved to Cranbrook.
Mary is survived by her daughters Laverne (Tom) Blom, Jacqueline (Erwin) Schiller; her grandchildren: Rodney and Wayne Ouellette, James Schiller, Vicki Stewart, Lee Blom, Bruce, Barbara, Mike, Robin, Katie, Mary Nell and Lucie Kerr, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, her good friend Henri Voisin and Michael who was always there for her. Mary is predeceased by her brother Tom Gibson, sister Audrey Frizzel, son Bob Kerr and grandson Leslie Schiller.
A Celebration of Life service for Mary will be held at a later date in Kamloops, British Columbia.
