Obituary of Armando Maruggi

1929 - 2008

The death of Armando Maruggi, age 78 years, occurred on January 30, 2008 in Cranbrook, B.C.

Armando was born on October 8, 1929 in Rapolla, Italy and came to Canada in 1960. He worked as a general laborer in the construction industry and later joined the Department of Highways and worked with them for over twenty years.

Armando is survived by his wife, Rosa, son, Rudy (Anna) Maruggi of Toronto, ON, brothers, Ezio, Turquato and Stefano, all in Italy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Prayers and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cranbrook. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Entombment will take place at the Mausoleum in Westlawn Cemetery, Cranbrook, B.C.
