Obituary of James Cassidy

On January 1st, 2008 James Cassidy passed away peacefully in Cranbrook, BC at the age of 87.
He is survived by his wife Violet, 2 children Kevin and Maggie Cassidy-Strosher and 4 grandchildren Jenn, Amanda, Maclean and Darian.
Jim and his family immigrated to Canada in 1957 from England where he served with distinction in the British Royal Navy in WW11. He will be remembered by all that knew him as a generous man with a wry wit and unique sense of humour. Although you will be dearly missed, we know you will live on in our hearts, our thoughts and your progeny. The family wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the FW Green Home. You compassion and professionalism made a significant difference in the quality of life during Jim's stay with you.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cranbrook, BC on Friday January 4th, 2008 at 2:00 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later time. Donations in honour of Jim may be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.*#300 - 828 West 8th Ave.*Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1E2.
