Obituary of Reinhard Matlachowski

Reinhard Matlachowski beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away tragically on December 5, 2007 at the age of 58 years. Reinhard was born in Bielefeld Germany on March 10, 1949 to Erna and Ted Matlachowski. His family relocated to Canada in 1957 and in 1961 to Long Sault Ontario where they made their home. In his early years Rienhard decided to move West. In the mountains Reinhard set out to seek his fortune and wound up in love and having his only child Dennis, which he was to raise as a single father. Reinhard had a passion for conversation that would have anyone willing, sitting and listening for hours. Reinhard was predeceased by his father and mother, Theodor and Erna Matlachowski, as well as his dog Buffy. Left to mourn are his son Dennis Johnny and granddaughter Denni Clement, brother's Rudi Matt (Cheryl) Long Sault ON; Richard Matlachowski Cornwall ON and sister Anne Kilby of Richmond ON and numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends, including his good friend Vivian Rockwell. Rienhard will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was dearly loved and will be in our thoughts forever.
