Obituary of Viola Luella Bradshaw

On Friday December 7, 2007 Viola passed away at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Cranbrook, B.C., at the age of 85 years. Vi was born October 30, 1922 in Waldo, B.C. Viola was a loving and caring person who cherished her family and enjoyed giving gifts. She did needlework, loved fishing and was fond of gardening, especially flowers. She is survived by two sons: Don McGuire, Lethbridge, AB, Phil (Shelley) Bradshaw, Cranbrook, and daughter Helen Rodgers, Armstrong, BC, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Viola will also be missed by her sisters and brother: Della (Roy) Gaskell, Cranbrook, Percy (Marion) Sims, Kimberley, Cindy (Rob) Stevely, Fort Steele, BC as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by her first husband Albert McGuire, second husband Arthur Bradshaw and brothers George, Jim, Mervin and Pat. A Celebration of Vi's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday December 14th, 2007 at McPherson's Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook, Reverend Jack Lindquist officiating. Donations in her memory may be offered to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kimberley & District Branch, Box 33 Kimberley BC V1A 2Y5 and are sincerely appreciated.
