Charles died tragically on August 10, 2006 in Sparwood, British Columbia at the age of 40 years.
Born June 6, 1966 in Invermere, B.C., Chuck enjoyed quiet times with family, having coffee with his friends and working hard. He loved to share his knowledge and beliefs with his kids and grandkids, so they could do their best at whatever they did. He was loved by everyone that knew him, especially by his wife Wanda. They were best friends for 14 years before becoming husband and wife on August 25, 2001.
Chuck will be loving remembered by his wife and best friend of 19 years, Wanda Joseph, 4 sons; Shaun (Lynn) McCrory, Calgary AB, Jerry (Vanessa) McCrory of Sparwood B.C., Jonathon Joseph of Cranbrook, B.C. and Aaron Joseph of Sparwood B.C., 2 daughters; Tanya McCrory and Brodie of Cranbrook, B.C. and Shannon Joseph of Sparwood B.C., 11 grandchildren; Jerome, Christine, Jayme, Nikita, Jodie, Brenden, Isaha, Cole, Samantha, Dominick and Wyatt.
Also left to mourn his loss are his mother-in-law and good friend Eileen Kopp of Marysville, B.C., brother; Laurence Thomas and family - Faro, "Matty" and Theresa, sisters: Leona Eugene and family - Peter, Brian, Wayne, Annette Eugene and family - Pauline, Leonard and "Jason" as well as Jackie Joseph and family -Arlo and Kiona.Charles will also be sadly missed by his Aunties; Lori Alard, Elizabeth Colman, Julia Thomas and Angelic Thomas, Uncle Herb Thomasas well as close family friends: Peter Mark of Calgary, Danny Walker of Calgary, Jamie cheveldeau of Calgary, John Spahan of Cranbrook, Terry and Deanna Thoms of Calgary, Steven "Newf" Green of Calgary, Penny and Freeman Little of Calgary.
Charles was predeceased by his grandmother Susan Thomas, mother Shirley A. Thomas, father Charles A. Joseph, brother Andrew Thomas and uncle Billy Thomas.
A wake will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 16, 2006 at the Shuswap Band Hall, Invermere, BC. A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday August 17, 2006 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Shuswap Indian Reserve, Invermere BC. Interment to follow in the Shuswap Cemetery.
