Obituary of Paul Zier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Zier on August 2nd, 2006 at the age of 89.

Paul was employed with the City of Cranbrook, for 25 years.Paul is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Olga; three daughters Rose Marie (Stuart) Mackenzie, Inge (Doug) Kidger, Edel Tuson; two sons Heinz (Sara) and Werner (Nancy); three granddaughters Lisa Tuson, Melissa Zier and Amy Zier; one grandson Dustin Zier all of Cranbrook, BC one sister Maria Rohl of Hamberg, Germany and many nieces and nephews who also reside in Germany.

Funeral Services for Mr. Zier will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 at 1:00PM from Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 920-11th St. South, Cranbrook, BC., with Pastor Fraser Coltman officiating.
