Obituary of Dianne Willisson

With great sadness the family of Dianne Hockley Willisson announce her passing at the age of 62, on July 28, 2006 in Kimberley, British Columbia.

Dianne was born in Kimberley, B.C. on May 27, 1944.She enjoyed making crafts, collecting Avon, going to Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Left to cherish memories of Dianne are her special friend Roy, son Craig (Rachel), daughter Valerie, grandchildren Georgia, Melissa, Irma and Marlin, her brothers Spike, Al (Louise), Wayne (Terry) and sisters Anita (Sheldon) and Sherry (Rocky) as well as many special children who called Dianne "Mom". Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends also survive her.

Dianne was predeceased by her parents Jim and Alice Hockley and her brother Lloyd.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday August 3rd, 2006 at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Kimberley, BC.

Interment will follow in the Kimberley Cemetery.

The family has requested that memorial donations be directed to the Kimberley Special Care Home (the Pines) or to the Kimberley Helping Hands Food Bank.
