Obituary of Eleanor Mary Wood

Born March 30, 1917 in Cranbrook, BC, Eddie passed away on June 13, 2007 in Cranbrook, at the age of 90. Joyce was born July 2, 1916 in Edgewood, B.C. and passed away June 15, 2007, also in Cranbrook, also at the age of 90. Married for 60 years, Eddie and Joyce both served in WWII. They were avid nature lovers who enjoyed observing birds, flowers and animals. Loving parents to Greg Wood of Victoria, BC, grandparents to Simon Wood of Victoria, B.C., they will also be missed by Joyce's sister, Eileen Millican of Christina Lake and several nieces and nephews. They were predeceased by Ed's sister Elsie Spence and his brother Franklin Tack Wood. A private service will be held with interment in the Westlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Christ Church Anglican, Cranbrook, BC.
