Obituary of Frank H. Hysert

Frank passed away in Cranbrook, British Columbia on July 1, 2006 in his 75th year. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on December 3, 1931, Frank moved to Alberta from Ontario in 1958. He spent 12 years serving his country in the military. Frank owned and operated Hysert Plumbing and Heating until he retired to the Kootenay Region in 1988. He moved with his wife Bessie to Cranbrook in the fall of 2005.
Frank was a member of the Calgary Lions Club and the Creston Lions Club since 1977. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping and hockey. Frank coached Junior Hockey and was the biggest kid playing games in the neighbourhood. He was also known to kick up his heels at the local square dance club.
Frank will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Bessie (nee Hawley) his devoted wife of 53 years, sons Terry (Ansje) of Calgary, Kim (Holly) of Banff and Gale of the USA, daughters Lori of Edmonton, Patti (Mark) of Edmonton and Pennee (Julian) of Australia. Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and his brother Ron Hysert also survive him.
A celebration of Frank's life will take place at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook, British Columbia on July 7th, 2006. Donations in honour of Frank may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2,
