1939 - 2010
It is with deep sorrow that the family of John William Reynolds announces his passing on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 70 years of age.
Jack was born on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia on December 13, 1939. He lived on Salt Spring Island until 1998 at which time he moved to Cranbrook. Jack was a loyal, caring man who took on many tasks in his life. He volunteered as a fireman, was the President of the Rod and Gun Club and was the President of the Salt Spring Rotary Club.
Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 48 years Caroline; sons Danny (Brandan) and Duane (Joshua) as well as his brother Don (Madeline) his sisters Sharyn (Ray) and Nancy (Anton) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at 5754 - Hidden Valley Road. Another Celebration of Jack's Life will be held on Salt Spring Island at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in his honour may do so to the: Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon, Cranbrook Unit, #101, 105 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2M1.
