Obituary of Christine May Bertoia

The Bertoia family is sad to announce the passing of Christine Bertoia on Thursday June 8th, 2006 at the age of 75.

Christine was born in Cranbrook and raised in Wardner. Christine worked in her father's general store in Wardner and later became a hairdresser working in Cranbrook. Christine married the love of her life Frank Bertoia and together they raised their family of two sons and two daughters.

Family members left to mourn Christine include her husband Frank and sons Charles, Kim and Glen Howard (Stacey) and daughters Cynthis Mae (Jeffery) Boychuck and Heidi Rita (Garry) Handley.

Christine also leaves to mourn her passing six grandchildren, Jenny Mae and Justin, Frank Boychuck,Gabrielle Jane and George Barkely Bertoia and Maximus Nickolas and Zoe Christine Handley, her brother Donald (Betty) Hamrin of Eastend Sk also survive her.

For 40 years Christine enjoyed her camping and RV travelling, going to many points in Continental USA. Christine's one and only personal passion was her family in which she was the 110% Mom and Granny.

A memorial service was held on June 12, 2006. Private family interment took place prior to the service.
