Obituary of Ubald Joseph Douville

Born July 18, 1930 in Ponteix, SK, Paul passed away in Invermere, B.C., on September 30, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Paul was a kind, patient and loving husband and father. He enjoyed golfing, crossword puzzles, playing cards, telling jokes and a nice glass of good Scotch. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree. Paul was very proud of his 42 accident free years at Crestbrook Forest Industries. He will be greatly missed. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol Douville, son Ron (Trish) Renz, daughter Lorie (Jeff) Peppel, son Dan (Aimee) Douville, daughter Susanne Douville, grandchildren: Kyle, Kristi, Trina, Joey, Jason, Jillian, Jack, Soren, Brook, Leo, Tatum and Sage, sister Therese Anderson, brother Leo Douville, sister Andree Lansing, brother Lucien Douville, brother Rene Douville and brother Denis Douville.Paul was predeceased by his parents Oliver and Aldea Douville, daughter Cindy Pogany (nee Douville), granddaughter Jackie Pogany, sisters Leona Wilkie and Laurette Baker and brother Armand. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Friday October 5, 2007 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Creston, BC. Interment to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations to the Knights of Columbus, Box 53, Creston, BC V0B 1G3 are gratefully acknowledged and sincerely appreciated.
