Obituary of Grace Anna Marie Beattie

Grace Anna Marie Beattie passed away suddenly at the Alberta Children's Hospital on May 9th, 2007, in the arms of her family.Gracie was born in Cranbrook, British Columbia on July 23, 2001. Her welcome to the world would not be gentle. Gracie was strong and determined and overcame many challenges so she could begin living. Gracie embraced every day. She lived her life in the details and everyone she knew or touched would be changed by this gift. Gracie's memory will be kept alive by her Mom and Dad, Christine and Scott Beattie, big sister Hope, little sister Noa, Grama and Grampa John and Karen MacDonald, Nannie Rose Beattie, Uncle Richie MacDonald, Aunty Jody Mellor, Zia Liane Beattie, cousins Sam and Billie Mellor, Skylar and Makenzie MacDonald, Bova, Beattie, Christianson and MacDonald families. Gracie will also be remembered and missed at school by her friends and teachers.Some people come into our lives And leave footprints on our hearts And we are never the same.
