Obituary of Basil Peter Molinaro

Basil passed away suddenly on March 15th, 2007 at his home in Cranbrook, British Columbia at the age of 59.

He was born June 18, 1947 in Rossland, B.C. He enjoyed a 30-year career as a teacher, all of it in Cranbrook, teaching industrial arts and foods. He retired from Parkland Junior Secondary in June 2004. In his retirement his joy was working on his house and garden and providing delicious baked goods to the Kootenay Roasting Company.

Basil will be sadly missed by 3 sisters and one brother; Rose Ann (Ron) McIntyre, Margaret (Norman) MacMurchy, Theresa Molinaro and Patrick (Barbara) Molinaro, 8 nieces and nephews as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Basil and Margaret Molinaro and brother-in-law, Jim Wardrop.

Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday March 22, 2007. Funeral Mass at 10:45 am, Friday March 23, 2007, both at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cranbrook, British Columbia. Interment to follow at the Westlawn Cemetery.
