Obituary of Lukas Jordan Laird

With infinite sadness we announce the sudden and too soon passing of an exceptional young man, on January 2, 2007, at the age of 17. Lukas was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, June 2, 1989. A student of Mount Baker High School, Lukas was enthusiastic about outdoor activities. He loved dirt biking, mountain biking, camping with friends, fishing with Dad and climbing Fisher Peak. He also enjoyed music and singing.

He will be greatly missed by his parents Murray and Leslie, sister Amy, grandparents Andy and Yvonne Renaud, Uncle Randy Renaud, cousins Jessie and Jaime, Auntie Debbie Renaud, Uncle Duncan and Aunt Gail Laird and cousin Adam. He was predeceased by grandparents Bruce and Vera Laird.

A celebration of his life will take place at the Tembec Gym, 220 Cranbrook St. N. Cranbrook, British Columbia at 1:00 pm on Friday January 5, 2007.Donations in honour of Lukas may be made to the PARTY Program, Suite #101 - 334 17th Ave. S.
