Obituary of Eileen Mary Dodgson

Eileen passed away on December 17, 2006 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Cranbrook, British Columbia.  she was born in New Westminster, B.C. on June 6, 1924.

Eileen was a loving mother and wife whose greatest joys were camping with family at Susie, playing bingo and ching-ching at the casino. Eileen was a WW II veteran, Provost Marshall Corp.

She is survived by husband Basil of 56 years and 9 children: Kathleen (Tom), Bonny (Dennis), Ken (Connie) Bill (Melanie) Jennifer (Dave) Douglas, Colleen (Jerry), Rick (Kathy), Steve (Anne) and adopted daughter Dorothy (Bob), 32 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Eileen will also be missed by her sister Vera, numerous nieces and nephews, friends at B.C. Hydro Power Pioneers, and special friends Cliff and Doris Kendall, Katie and Carl Bjornson and Gib Northern.

There will be a memorial service held at 1:00 pm on Thursday December 21, 2006 at McPherson Funeral Chapel in Cranbrook.
