Kay, Irene, and Glen I was completely caught off guard when I came across your Fathers Obituary. Then to read that your Mom had also passed on, that just closes one more chapter. Your family has a great kinship with ours and I even recall having dinner at your house on 6th ave.(we may have even slept in the basement) think Mom was having Ron. Your Mom served fruit cocktail for dessert, I had never had fruit cocktail before. It was so good I asked for seconds, think I got the hint from the the look your Mom gave me that seconds was something you earned.
My last tour of sixth ave. was about three years ago, I do believe our former homes have shrunk as much as my waistline has grown. Can you believe how many of us started out on that street. Plus I do believe that Irene inherited your Moms zest for anything a man can do I can do better, did she win a special trophy for hunting? Irene may not have hunted but she did pound me a couple of times.
These losses can not be halted, but I hope I inspired a couple of good memories. Irene you still involved with figure skating? I am in Facebook so touch base if you wish.
