Obituary of Andrew Renaud

1934 - 2012

It is with great sorrow that the family of Andrew Renaud announce his passing after a brief illness on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 78 years of age with his family by his side.

Andy was born on July 21, 1934. He married Yvonne, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, and they were together for 56 years.

Andy is survived by his loving wife Yvonne; son Randy; daughters Leslie (Murray) Laird, and Debbie Renaud; his special friend Casper; granddaughter Amy Laird; two grandsons Jesse and Jamie; sisters Jane (Arnold) Mosmann and Yvette Shandola; brothers-in-law Wilfred "Bud" Johnstone and Glen (Rosemary) Giles; many nieces and nephews, friends and coffee buddies. He was predeceased by his grandson Lukas Laird and his parents Romeo and Lorette Renaud and his sister Rose Johnstone.

A funeral mass for Andy will be held at Christ The Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook (1100 - 14th Avenue South) on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Donations in Andy's honour can be made to the Interior Health Authority, c/o: 13 - 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 3H9 or the charity of your choice.
