I have just heard that Diane has passed away. I am sorry to be posting this so late, however I wanted to pass on our condolences to Bill and the whole family. Brian and I both attended Mt. Baker school with Diane and between us knew her brothers and sister, and soon her boyfriend Bill, the Kimberley love of her life. From graduating in 1966 to our 50th Reunion Diane was the key organizer and communicator for our class. We enjoyed 5 reunions, many starting in Bill and Diane's home and truly lovely back yard. She will always be remembered fondly by her classmates and long time friends. Brian Laing and Gladys Ritter Laing.

Bill, Mike, Deb & families!
What a shock to learn of Diane's sudden passing! We recall being neighbours many years ago when you lived on 6A St. We were unable to be at the service as we were out of town, but our thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to all of you at this very sad time.
Sincerely,
Ron & Audrey Tarr

Bill & Family,
I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. I was so shocked to hear of Diane's untimely passing. I remember the Wine & Cheese gatherings that were celebrated at your home for our class reunions. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the last class reunion, as I had broken my shoulder a few days before that event. Diane will be remembered by many, including all those who were part of her grad class. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. May she rest in peace.

This is indeed sad news. Diane was such a big part of our community; Cranbrook will be a "lesser" place with Diane gone. Our most sincere condolences to Bill and the whole family. May peace be yours during this difficult time. Annalee and Laird

Dear Mike, Debbie and Bill,
My heart broke when I heard about Diane's passing. I remember her as a nurse for my late Grandfather. Diane called us in the middle of the night to inform us that he had passed away. She was so compassionate when my Mom was in shock. She had kind and comforting words at a time when we needed them most. I loved reading Diane's obituary - such a trooper and a remarkable woman that left an indelible mark on many hearts. Please be comforted in knowing that although I had not seen Diane in many years, I stopped to reflect on such a beautiful lady.
Holding the Calders in my head and heart through this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Julie Fiorentino
