The kids' and I are still in shock... :broken_heart: We just cannot believe you are gone... They miss you soooooooooooooo much Steve... lots of tears and lots of laughs as We have been reminiscing about all the camping trips, fishing trips, firework shows you put on, sledding, tube man, hunting together, gold panning, hound dogs, quadding, horseback rides, movie nights, freezies, cheesy noodles and elk steak, your famous fried chicken, river boat rides, honey holes of creek fishing, buttercup, easter egg hunts, ice cream cakes you said you slaved over the stove to make, Target shooting, Bush cruises, snuggles, hugs and Love you Mostests!!!,snake catching, the banshee (lol) , soooo many wonderful memories that bring tears to our eyes as we miss you soo! You were just the crazy ass Dad that loved his kids sooo much and loved being in the mountains - which you gave to all your kids too!! It's going to be a long ass road navigating the kids through this.... :broken_heart::sob::two_hearts:
Thank you for the dimes you left for the kids- Bo told me he asked you to leave him a dime to let him know you were there with him :heart:
Presley and Bowdrie send Lots of Love to you :heart: Enjoy the ride up there Tanner! Catch you along the trail one day - Till then Love you :heart:

I am so saddened by this news. Our family first met Steve when we needed a babysitter for our children. We were fortunate to get to know him over the past many years and will think of him fondly. His big smile and huge personality will be missed by all that gave had the pleasure to know home. Farewell to a wonderful spirit. May you Rest in Eternal Peace.

My deepest condolences in the loss of this beautiful man. Steve challenged everyone he met to embrace the untamed part of themselves, bringing us all closer to the wilderness he loved so much.
The evening I first met Steve, I was staring up at the Steeples mountain range, and he walked up and said "Hey, that's my last piece of sunshine!" Whenever I see that last bit of sun kiss the mountains before nightfall, I will think of him.
