Dad, I don't think I'll ever be the same without you. I miss you much. You were my very best friend. My days are hard and long without you, without our daily phone calls and visits. I miss you Dad. I keep thinking you will find a way, you were so smart, you could build anything, fix anything and I keep thinking if anyone finds a way back it will be you.... but I also know that's my grief talking. God promised that one day I'll see you again- I pray with everything in me it's true. Families are forever. Love your Pumpkin.

My step-mom said it best: "He was the best of the best" You are so loved and will be missed everyday. Ahh crips Dad....I hoped this stupid day would never come. Awe, bless his heart. I knew Paul (and) Diane from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24. I met him before he had his knee replacement. He was always the gentleman, with a nice smile and hello, and always liked to have conversation with us all. I wish I had been able to get to know him better. Diane, a big hug from me, and to everyone in his family. I won't have a chance to pay my respects because I will be away then. My heart goes out to everyone and bless you all. He will be missed down at the Legion. Margie Whan
