Dicks Mother, Roberta Passmore will miss him with all her heart, as well his loving brother Robert Passmore living in Moose Jaw, SK and his loving daughter's Julie (Jeff) Seip and grandsons Deion & Evan Seip of Cranbrook, BC. daughter Jennifer (Brad) Sparks, of Victoria, BC., loving son's Jason Carpentier of Moose Jaw, SK and son David (Chrissy) Passmore, granddaughters Mia & Summer of Regina, SK. Special niece Jackie Fontaine (Dan) of Moose Jaw, SK and special daughter Delaine Smith and her family in Moose Jaw, SK. Also friends Norm and Hilda of Cranbrook, BC.
Dick was born in Moose Jaw, SK on August 13, 1947. Dick had artistic skills drawing, a flair for writing and his carpentry skills which led him to the love of his life and future wife Janice who he married on September 5, 1992. Dick also lovingly passed on his carpentry skills to his son Jason who continues to pass on the legacy.
Dick's passion and deep love for his grandchildren was very apparent. The first sign of summer prompted his quick action into setting up the pool and trampoline for his grandsons Deion and Evan, who endearingly referred to him as "Popal". In his retirement he loved sitting on his deck looking at the mountains having a cool drink with his loving wife Janice watching the grandchildren play. His love for his dogs and quick wit will be remembered by all of those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends far and wide.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Chris Niemand and the Palliative nurses for their care and compassion, during Dick's illness at his home, and during his passing at the hospital.
A small private memorial service will be held in Cranbrook, BC at a later date at Dick's special place he loved.
