I was saddened to learn of Glen's passing.It was my distinct privilege to know and work for Glen in St. Catharines, Ontario from 1981-83 in the Insurance Industry. He was a consummate professional, with a quick wit and the ability to cut though to the chase (or through the "BS") to assist us to make an informed decision.I remember some of the things he taught us all that still are with us to this day: make sure to come in early the day after the office party; Some mythical person in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan that he never named, but referred to often- I believe that meant they mattered, too; a drawer full of the same color socks- as long as your suit (3 pce) was brown, you're good to go!
I haven't seen him for years, but the impression he made on me and others lasts to this day and always will.
My sincere condolences to the whole family. The world was a better place before his loss.
