So many beautiful and heart warming moments and now memories of Lucina. Our daughters loved her and would always look for her out in the garden every green morning. Nara called her grandma, because that is what she was - kind, loving, and so excited when they would catch each other's eyes through the fence. Ailie would walk right over to say Hi as soon as she saw movement in the yard next door. We would share stories, flowers and vegitables, seeds, delicious seasonal fruits, smiles, laughs, good morning waives and hugs. I think Lucina was thankful for the wild strawberries that made their way into her garden two summers ago. In the winter months we'd pop by for a cappuccino and cookie visit and bring by some of the kids art work. Sometimes we'd beat her to shoveling the front walk, but not often. We'll miss Lucina's kind smile, welcoming nature, thoughtful words, garden advice, watchful eye, helping hands and the amazing apple pies. The best neighbour and friend you could ever imagine. Thank you Lucina for all you have taught us about being a good person, you are inspiring. We miss you xoxoxoxoxoxo
