I am so sad to hear of your loss of Roxanne. She was a mentor in the arts, so supportive of everyone who attempted to act, sing and dance. Roxanne was very special to the Steppin' Out Dancers...we had a bond and appreciated her enthusiasm and lovely smile. Such a great sense of humour along with Jane....they graced our Lilith stage a few times! Roxanne will be missed...I will always remember her with love.

I enjoyed our time together at the Kimberley Library Bookstore, I had not known her before this time and I wish I had enjoyed more contact with her. She was a truly engaging person.

Roxanne (and her friend Wynne) gave me my first paid acting job with Kimberley Mobile Theatre in 1988. That $10 per show opened up many opportunities with the theatre. She introduced me to the idea of an actor having to travel to get work and I tried to follow her advice. She was a supporter of theatre in any venue and encouraged me to do my best on stage. She was always warm, friendly, caring, and interested in what I continued to do as an actor and performer.
Her volunteer work kept us in contact and she was never more than a phone call away. I am holding fast to the memories of us taking a role and having fun with it, trying new approaches, her meat pies, and most of all, her wonderful sense of humour.
My condolences to Clarence and to Roxanne's family. You are in my thoughts.

Her smile, her laugh, that wicked sense of humor, that incredible way she had that made you feel at ease no matter what, her kindness and love will stay with me and my daughter always. To me, a true and awesome friend - to my daughter, the reluctant but fantastic Mrs. Claus. xoxo

Thanks Roxanne for taking a chance on a young dreamer. Your guidance and wisdom taught me to be confident in myself, my writing, and my career paths in life. It's because of you that my very first summer jobs involved boarding pirate ships, searching for miner's gold, exploring haunted mansions, and coddling blue blankets. They were some of my best years.
You encouraged me to take charge of my own story, see the potential within, and channel my own successes through life. When many perceived me as a follower, you saw the qualities of leadership. Your laugh was infectious and full of optimism - feeding the creative fires of everyone around you.
To my favourite director, uncanny collaborator, mentor, and friend, keep your head up, feet planted, and perform to the sky. Another bright star is on her way.

Roxanne supported me through all of my theatre endeavours. Always made me feel safe and appreciated, and always with a big smile and a twinkle in her eye. A big loss, a sad day.

As a very young girl Mom, Carol and I went to North Vancouver from Toronto to visit our grandparents. Granny had a surprise for us - she took us to Stanley Park to see a play that my Aunt Roxanne was starring in. The play was called Brigadoon and Aunt Roxanne's performance was wonderful. She sang and danced and wore a beautiful blue ball gown. I was enthralled. Afterwards we went backstage where she welcomed us with hugs and kisses. I will cherish this memory forever.
Sincere condolences to my cousins and their families and as well to Clarence.

Condolences to Clarence and family. I'm one of the fortunate that was able to share the stage with her. Such a talent and beautiful person. She will be missed. Love and hugs to the family and those in her circle.
