Terry and Pat....so sorry to learn of the passing of your father . I had the privilege and pleasure of working with your Dad when I was Promotion Manager for Labatt Brewery in Vancouver..There wasn't a more dedicated beer sales rep than Ken McTeer . He consistently had the highest Kokanee beer sales percentage in the Kootenays ! He knew everyone..and everyone knew 'Cowboy '..SILSA loggers Sports..Kimberley Snowgolf ..and Nelson Midsummer Bonspiel...were a few of the events I was lucky enough to attend with Ken.He was an all around athlete in his younger years..and made every sincere effort to give back to his community.
A Kootenay Legend has gone to the Great Ranch in the Sky...
Rest In Peace dear old friend..

Terry, Pat and family - Mom and I are saddened to hear of the loss of your dad. He was always so much fun to be around and genuinely cared about his family and friends. In the last year Mom has spoken often of your dad and laughed over his nickname for her - "kissing cousin."
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
Our deepest condolences,
Fran and Anita Sortome

Our sincere condolences to the entire McTeer family during this difficult time. Ken provided many hockey fans with some great memories over the years. He also helped shape the lives of the youth in our community through coaching hockey, golf, etc. There was never a dull moment at the Pucksters golf tournaments when Ken and his hockey buddies got together.

Barb and I are saddened at the passing of another great Dynamiter of the past. We visited Cowboy at the Pines a number of times. The first visits he could converse and then as time went on there was only Barb & talking and Kenny listening. His eyes did the talking those last few visits and you really felt how much he liked people and liked people coming to visit him. We will miss him very much and will always remember him setting up Les, Mex and later on Dick for so many goals in the great Dynamiters teams of many years ago. Our condolences to his family and to Joyce who was always by his side for so many years. RIP Cowboy.
