Jo-Anne will be missed very much. My condolences to the Strookow and Sobey family. Jo-Anne and I were child hood friends which continued through to our old age. I'm so glad her suffering has stopped . I have so many wonderful memories over the last 48 years. Rest in peace my friend.

My deepest condolences to Bob, Stephanie and Amy. My last meeting with JoAnne was the day after her birthday when we made plans together for the home improvements that she insisted on completing. I could tell that she was struggling, but she put on a brave face and looked forward. My memory of the hug we shared as I left and hoped to give her strength remains with me. I enjoyed working with JoAnne; her integrity and attention to detail stood out. I will miss her. Bev McCormick

We are so saddened to hear of Jo-Anne's passing and send our deepest sympathy to Bob, Stephanie, Amy and families. We will always have fond memories of the many years of involvement with Jo-Anne and the Strookow family in the Cranbrook Figure Skating Club.
