To Cathy and families:
Hi Cathy, Peter and I were so sad to hear from Wendy about your dad's unexpected passing. We remember your dad well from your wedding and how he made us feel so welcome in your home around the pool. He was also so concerned about us driving home. Probably with good reason.
You will have such wonderful memories which will be of some comfort I know, he was such a great dad and grandfather. We both want you to know you are in our thoughts and hope that time will make it easier to accept. Sending hugs and sympathy to you.

I am so shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of Brian. It was far too soon as he still had so much to live for and so much love to share with his family and especially his grandchildren.
May all the great memories you've had together help to carry you through this most difficult time. Pat I think of you back when we first went to 'Toastmasters'!
My heart goes out to you all.
It has been decades since I lived in Cranbrook but I have been in constant touch with Brian and every year at income tax time we have this chat about family and the latest news about our daughter's Donna and Cathy who have also known each other for thirty eight years!
Sincerest sympathy, Urla Meckling

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Pat and family he was a wonderful person and one that I so enjoyed working with. I worked with Brian while I was the Chair of Community Futures back when we needed the services of a brilliant accountant and Brian rose to the occasion. He also has been a valued advisor with our El Camino Water Improvement District. He will be missed by man--he was a very committed community leader. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP dear Brian.

I just heard about Brian's passing. He was my link back in 92 when we moved here to Cranbrook from Ontario. He introduced me to my first client and then to you which resulted in 8 years working for you. For that I will always be indebted to Brian. My prayers will be with you.

I've known Brian for about a year with the privilege of working with him at Adams Wooley. Whenever he comes to work, he was walking around and saying hello to each and everyone in the office. He always had moments to share with people at the work. He surely treated everyone he knew with great respect. It is sad that he wouldn't be around us anymore. But hope it could give us comfort to know that he and our memory with him are within us and part of us. My deepest condolences to Pat, David, and all other family members.

To Brian's Family:
I was so saddened to hear the loss of a very kind and unassuming man.
I had the privilege of working with Brian in the 1980's through the Community Futures/Business Development Centre as the secretary/bookkeeper/receptionist and again these past 13 years as the bookkeeper for Renato Nicli at Kootenay Communications.
Although my contact with Brian was infrequent, I always found him to be such a nice man who always had a few moments to chat and ask how I was.
I knew he was an avid golfer and amazing photographer, but see that he had a great deal of unique interests and talents.
He had so much to offer for many years to come, and I am sure he is going to be missed by so many.
My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends.

Pat, I am very sad to read of Brian's passing. My heart goes out to you. The obituary was beautiful and described Brian perfectly. He was an intelligent, gentle man who made you feel important. I particularly enjoyed hearing his stories of hunting trips he took with my father back in the 70's - he had a wonderful memory and a gift of storytelling, as you said. He will be missed.

So sorry to read the sad news of Brian's passing. We meet Brian 50+ years ago when he was our neighbour. For a few years he did our income tax. He was a very friendly person who never forgot you. Wherever you would see him throughout the years, he would always take the time to stop & talk & find out how all was going. I am sure he will be missed by many.
My sincere condolence to all of his family. Lila McGovern
