Obituary of Vivian Maud Lane

Vivian Maud Lane "Viv" (nee McIndoe) 1928 - 2018 It is with great sorrow that the family of Vivian Lane announces her passing on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 89 years of age in Kimberley, British Columbia. Vivian was born on September 8, 1928 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was a long-time Kimberley resident and was involved with various clubs and sports organizations over the years. Her great love was her family and friends. Backyard family gatherings with friends and family in her later years gave her incredible enjoyment. The laughter will never be gone. The tradition will still carry on. Gramma will be sorely missed. Vivian is survived by her son Gord (Laura), her daughter Tricia Arnason (Lloyd) and grandchildren Kerra Lane, Jocelyn, Cam and Kirsten Arnason, her brothers Donn McIndoe and Gary McIndoe (Linnea), her sister Jeanne Jean (Richard) and her sister-in-law Helen McIndoe. Vivian was predeceased by her loving husband Don Lane in 2013 and her brother James "Mac" McIndoe in 2016. Vivian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all of us. Our family extends a heartful thank you to all of her medical care givers and the exceptional staff at the Pines. At Vivian's request there will be no funeral service.
