My wife, daughter and I rented the old "cabin" on Pete's property at Woods' Corner for a couple of years back in the early 80's. I also worked with Jerry and Pete fencing anytime I was laid off from Cominco and worked with Jerry at Cominco as well. They were two of the strongest men I'd ever know in my life!! Fencing with them was tough work but also a lot of fun. My family and I had lots of laughs with Pete while we were there and stopped in to see him anytime we were back in Kimberely. Losing Jerry was extremely tough on Pete but he got through it and carried on. He was very generous with myself and family and always was available to help out when needed. We collected a lot of firewood together. I'm sorry I didn't know about this sooner and would have loved to be at his Celebration with him there!! What a guy!! We think of you often Pete and our sympathy to his family. Don & Arta Selby
