Obituary of Eirikur Anthony Douglas Gudjonson

Eirikur Anthony Douglas Gudjonson "Sonny" 1953 - 2017 Sonny lost his fight with cancer on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home in Cranbrook with his family at his side. He was 64. Sonny was born on February 20, 1953 in Golden, BC. He was always helping others. Sonny had a love for the outdoors and that is normally where you would find him. He was a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He always made sure he was there to watch his grandkids ride their horses. Sonny was truly loved and will be greatly missed. Left to mourn Sonny's passing are his daughter Chantal (Wade) and his two grandkids Lexus and Brody, his step-son Scott, his brother Gerald (Sandra), his sisters Teresa (Lyle), Linda (Norman) and Leslie, as well as his nieces Crystal, Brandi, Michelle, Erica, Anna, Patricia, Tina, Joanne, Tommy and Robert, many more family members and many friends. Sonny was predeceased by his parents Eirikur Gudjonson and Elizabeth Gudjonson and his sister Betty Bond. A service for Sonny will be held at the Parson Community Hall (3589- Hwy 95) on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
