Obituary of Audrey Marguerite Ryan

November 7, 1929 - November 30, 2017 Audrey Marguerite Ryan (Kathrens) passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side, on November 30, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Audrey was born and raised in Calgary Alberta and was the youngest of 6 children. She graduated from Western Canada High School and continued her education at Business College. After College, Audrey briefly worked for the military and then continued her career at the Alberta Hail Board. On September 7, 1957 she married Albert and relocated to Lethbridge Alberta. In 1962 Albert, Audrey and Judy moved to Cranbrook to open Ryan's Tire Supply. Once her children were grown Audrey returned to work at Mappins Jewellers. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In her free time Audrey loved golfing, playing cards, reading, time with friends and family and travelling the world. She especially enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren at the family cabin. All who knew her, will miss her fun-loving kind spirit. She leaves her husband of 60 years Albert Ryan; her daughters Judy (Ray) Evans and Arlene (Russ) Bedell; five grandchildren, Sean Evans, Erin (Brandon) Pighin, Kristin Evans, Olivia and Zachary Bedell.; three great grandchildren Aiden Evans, Paityn and Paisley Pighin; along with many Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service will be Saturday December 9, 2017, 11:00 am at McPherson Funeral Home 2200 2nd St S Cranbrook B.C. A gathering for remembrance will follow with a light lunch.
