BRENT RICHARD MCIVER
JULY 20, 1975 - SEPTEMBER 16, 2017
With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and cousin. His family and many friends will miss his humor, honesty and kind heart. He will be remembered as a knowledgeable, humble and extremely talented man.
Brent started his construction company, PIDOCA, in Vancouver in 2000 and relocated back to Cranbrook in 2007. His passion was creating beautiful custom homes that will be his lasting legacy. He had a great eye for detail and an incredible gift with design that shows in his many projects. His Facebook and his construction friends will miss his incredible wit and rants.
Brent will be dearly missed by his parents Glen and Leona McIver, his brother Jeff (Marcy), his niece Alliyah and his nephew Kaiden, his brother Kevin (Sarah), his aunts Arlene (Byron), Irene (Gerry) and Gloria, his uncles Keith (Jan), Garth (Rob) and Robert, many cousins and his four-legged friend Murdoch.
His family would like to thank all of his AA friends for their care and support over the years and are extremely proud of the work Brent did for his 17 years in AA. Thanks to Dr. Shope for his care and concern.
A celebration of Brent's life will be held at the Colombo Lodge in Cranbrook on Monday, September 25 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (13 - 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 3H9) to be used for Mental Health Services or to the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation (www.cranbrookcf.ca) in memory of Brent.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
