Linda passed away after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. She is survived by her 3 children Shawn (Natalie) Legault, Shannon (Stephan) Veilleux and Anna (Brian) Zukowski; her beloved grandchildren Jane, Kate, Jacklyn and Nolan Veilleux and Julie and Jenna Zukowski; her sister Kathy Garies; her brothers Mike (Lucy) Garies, Bob (Rachel) Garies, Jim (Lorraine) Garies and John (Elaine) Garies; her former husband Roger Legault and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Anne Garies; and her two infant sisters Mary and Michelle Garies. Linda grew up in Swift Current, SK where she was active at the Elks Aquatic Club and was a life guard at the city pool. She won many awards for swimming and playing the piano.
