It is with great sadness to learn of Murray's passing. We travelled many roads together as school mates, first in Kindersley Grade two and then in Coleville. His gentle character held sensitivity and compassion for everyone. His sense of humour and smile was his brand. Some photos of our last ride and meeting with old buddies. My condolences to Carol and family, I am truly sad, to hear of Ian's passing. I had the pleasure of growing up with Ian (back then we called him Murrray). We spent our younger years as best pals, finding ways to entertain ourselves in Colville. I believe we were even mentioned in a history book on Coleville. Brien Welwood

Just read in the Kindersley Clarion that Murray passed away. So sorry, Carol and family. We have fond memories of your family whilst we lived at the Trans Gas compression station south of Coleville. Jeremy and Duane were in the same class at school. It was Murray who so generously offered his grain truck, with a tank full of gas, for us to use to move to Swift Current.
