To Nell's Family,
We were saddened to learn of Nell's recent passing. She was, indeed, one of the most delightful people to know. I remember one Christmas when we, as a family, decided to do the twelve days of Christmas with our cherished neighbour. Tiny gifts assembled, each day the children would sneak across the lane and leave a gift - at the front door or the rear door..... Ring the bell and then - dash. Of course, once she caught on, the children had to vary the schedule and tactics in this cat and mouse game. I remember watching from an upstairs window as she would miss " the elves" once again, by a hair's breadth. When their identity was finally revealed, Nell was so delighted and appreciative. We all feel so lucky to have had her as a very special neighbour. Keeping you in our thoughts, Bill and Fran Wagner
