Obituary of Margaret Mary D'Andrea

1925 - 2012

It is with great sorrow that the family of Margaret Mary D'Andrea announces her passing on Monday, April 2, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 86 years of age.

Margaret was born on August 24, 1925 in Fernie, British Columbia She enjoyed visiting with her friends and family in her home. She kept up with world affairs and you could ask her anything and she would know the answer. Margaret enjoyed camping at Kootenay Lake and was involved with the CWL.

Margaret is survived by her, son Bill (Betty) D'Andrea, granddaughter Raylee of Vulcan, AB, daughter Cathy D'Andrea of Cranbrook, sister Helen Smith of Fernie, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George D'Andrea and son John D'Andrea.

Prayers for Margaret D'Andrea will be held at Christ The Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 5:00 pm. Her funeral mass will be held at Christ The Servant Roman Catholic Church in Cranbrook on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:30 am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the: Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon Cranbrook Unit, #101, 105 - 9th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2M1 or the: Canadian Red Cross, 42 - 6th Avenue South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 2H3.
