I never got to know you Brent, but I got to know one of your sons. Tyler is one of favourite people I met while we served our missions together. He was always was so level headed, kind, loveable, friendly, and fun to be around. He always spoke highly of his family and of you. If the man Tyler is, was the boy you raised, you were a terrific father and husband. You will be missed!

We lived next door to the Penitch brothers growing up. Every day was an adventure. Brent was the youngest and he happily did his best to keep up after us and always with the biggest heart and smile. We send our condolences out to all the family in this hard time. Brent was a great person and an excellent friend who has left us with many great memories. A few memories are fishing for Bull trout on the Kootenay river, boating on Moyie or Koocanusa lake, or the over 500 000 kms shared in a vehicle back and forth to work.
