I met Don and Heather at the Manor and we had lots of laughs together there.
Don was such a family man and a true Maritimer. His family was his life.
I will always remember his smile and chuckle.
My heartfelt condolences to Heather and his family.
RIP Don

Donny and Heather became friends of ours only a few years ago but we became very close very quickly. Between our time on the boat at the lake and many poker dice and rummoli nights we shared life stories mixed with lots of laughter and lots of love. Donny showed his maritime background with his easy going, generous and welcoming personality. We loved him the moment we met him. We were lucky to experience the White family bond through our time spent with Donny, as well as, Heather, Todd and Melissa.
Everyone knew Donny’s love for his family was closely rivalled by his love for the Leafs. As non-Leaf fans, we both rooted for the Leafs to support Don and we will continue to cheer for our new team in his memory.
Donny made an indelible stamp on our lives in the short time we knew him. We miss him already…

I met Donnie & Heather at the Manor, both of them were always so much fun to be around. They showed the residents and staff that their love was a very special love. I'm grateful that Donnie is no longer in pain and in the best place. My heart goes out to Heather, stay strong girl, you have many that care a lot for you. Each time you look into a starry night, remember Donnie is shinning/smiling down on you.
Big Hugs from Donna Hreys (Manor nurse).

My Brother was my Hero, as he and Heather worked to look after their Family, here in New Brunswick or in Cranbrook BC. We could not believe they would make the move to BC and survive!
With the help of the kids they made the trip and made a Home to which all could visit and enjoy.
Donnie was a TRUE Leaf Fan and we wish they could have made the Final, alas, like the Leaf's it was time for him to move on. We will Treasure the time that we spent together although brief. We will remember him, for his Smile, Wit and his thoughtfulness.
We will Miss You Brother.

I first met Heather and Don at the manor when I was 14 years old, and worked with them for over 10 years. They were like my second parents. Don always made sure that we were taken care of and fed while at work! He brought light and joy to our lives and will be forever missed!! Heather, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!!

My baby brother. My heart is broken. I love you so much and to know I'll never see you again is excruciating but I have the best memories of your last visit home that my heart explodes with happiness. You fought the battle of all battles like a true hero. You told John that you were the last one to come and the first to go. What a beautiful life with Heather you shared.Three beautiful children and two grandsons. All adore you. You truly were the patriarch. I will miss you dearly but I take solace knowing that your pain is no more. Thank you for being my brother. I love you.RIP.XO

Dear friends and family of Donald,
It is with deep sorrow that I offer my condolences on the passing of your beloved Donnie. He was a kind-hearted soul whose gentle demeanor always brought joy to those around him. It was a pleasure to meet Donnie and Heather every morning for coffee at Mcdonalds, where we shared many laughs together. His infectious smile and friendly conversation will be forever missed, but his memory will live on in our hearts.
Sincerely,
Bernadette

My most heartfelt condolences to all of Donnie's family. He truly was a family man and loved his wife,, children and grandsons with everything he had. I met Donnie as a kid and was the best friend to his only daughter, I have many memories growing up and spending time at their house in Highmeadow Park in Saint John. It was always a welcoming and happy place to be, and I don't recall ever seeing Donnie without a smile. I remember the big brick BBQ and when he was working uptown above the market. He was an amazing cook. He will always be remembered xo
